This is Sarah’s fifth year as Camp Butwin Director, and 21st summer at Camp Butwin! Sarah’s Camp Butwin experience has taken her through the ranks of camper, C.I.T., counselor, Program Director and Director. Sarah holds a B.A. from Coe College in Iowa and worked in the Social Work field before rejoining the JCC team in 2013. Sarah knows first-hand what a gift the Camp Butwin experience is in a child's life and that the values stay with you as an adult, too. She brings a wealth of talent and knowledge that promises to make summer 2017 an amazing and unforgettable experience for your camper!
This is Tracey's sixth year as Assistant Camp Director at Camp Butwin. In addition to overseeing programming at camp, Tracey makes sure everything we do is touched with Jewish ideas and values. As part of her role, Tracey coordinates and supervises our summer shlichim (emissary) program with our Israeli specialty staff, as well as our famed camp specialists. Tracey looks forward to sunny days, conquering new challenges, making new friends (and welcoming back friends we have missed), laughing, singing and learning together.
This is Megan’s first year at Camp Butwin. Megan grew up in Saint Paul, graduating from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Social Sciences. Megan has many years of camp experience, and camping is a huge passion of hers. Megan has worked in special education and in the mental health field for the past 5 years, including leading outdoor recreation with companies who focus on adaptive programming. Megan enjoys cooking, the outdoors, fishing, and has a new interest in archery! Megan is looking forward to seeing camp in action and meeting all the wonderful staff, kids, and families! Welcome, Megan!
